Wifi Streaming through Television Provider doesn't work anymore!!!
This app used to be awesome but they did something during an update that completely ruined the Wifi Streaming capabilities on any of my iPhones or other mobile devices. Also, I could only use the Streaming service through my Roku TV upwardly until about 2 weeks agone when they updated that app and ruined it too! I love all the other features of this app but most importantly I want to be able to STREAM! Please gear up this. Another thing that bugs me is they used to take Xfinity as a provider (although information technology didn't work properly when they did) but then information technology disappeared. I've had to change cable companies just to get NFL Network. Give thanks God it's on Sling Television & FuboTV now. Either way, please, whatever you did to the app that makes information technology impossible to lookout man NFL Network through the app alive, prepare it!!! No affair if I'grand using Dish, FuboTV or Sling, afterwards I sign in information technology just goes right back to the login page telling me that I need to sign in to my provider to watch alive. This is beyond annoying. On my Roku Telly information technology stays on a loading screen forever even though I've deleted the app 5 times and reinstalled. Nothing makes a departure. I really want to be able to spotter NFL Network on my iPhone again simply I don't understand why that's non a priority to gear up for your developers. This is a serious event that'south been going on for over a year and I read other reviews that say the same matter I'm saying. Set the Streaming service please and you'll get 5 stars!
Great idea. Lousy execution.
Live streaming works quite well in full general. The problems occur when playing back games after they are done, whether it be video or radio broadcasts. If y'all just play the content, it usually does well plenty. However, if you want to skip effectually in the game, it is very inconsistent, frequently resulting in the stream starting over once again from the beginning. Permit'south say I want to skip back thirty seconds to lookout a play once again. There is merely no good way to do this and it'south only problematic for the app. Oftentimes yous cannot even see where you are in the video because it does not display all the numbers (the game I am listening to reads "02...", so I know only that I am sometime in the 2nd 60 minutes). This makes accurately moving earlier or later in the stream extremely awkward, ineffective, and pretty much impossible. How about adding the now-standard option buttons to skip fifteen seconds forwards or backward in the stream? This is Non hard to do. Also, if you take the stream displaying in full screen way, y'all pretty much can't skip the stream forward or astern. Y'all have to subtract the display size, then you can do it, albeit chunkily. Information technology'southward remarkable how far ahead MLB is compared to NFL when it comes to streaming content. MLB makes the experience nearly seamless. With the NFL, information technology'southward an unpleasant experience.
